因冠毒疫情停办两年后回归，圣地亚哥动漫大展（SDCC）将于2022年7月21日至24日在圣地亚哥市中心海港畔近6万平方米的会展中心举行，届时包括卡普空、漫威等知名厂商都将参展。

主办方透露，今年展会期间将为来此的玩家提供《街霸6》、《怪物猎人：崛起》、《卡普空街机合集2》等最新作品的试玩。

此外，《怪物猎人：崛起》“曙光”DLC也将在本次试玩活动中免费非为玩家提供。不过从官方的描述来看，漫展上的试玩应该是在该DLC发售前推出的Demo——玩家将在与镰鼬龙王、河童娃以及电龙的战斗中熟练掌握各种武器的使用技巧，并最终挑战DLC封面怪“爵银龙”。

根据SDCC网站的通告，今年SDCC的参会者全部被要求戴口罩入展。通告说，虽然大多数加利福尼亚州的活动取消了口罩的要求，但此动漫展在室内的活动，为保护起见，所有人将被要求在整个大厅内佩戴合格的口罩，该要求包括所有参加动漫大会的人，与会者、参展商、新闻界、专业人士、工作人员、志愿者和角色扮演者。唯一例外是5岁以下的儿童不需戴口罩。

主办方的网站表示，如果有医疗问题的持票人说他们不能戴口罩，将会被要求不要参加今年此次活动。

此外，所有参与者都需要出示疫苗接种状况证明，或能够出示入展前72小时内冠状病毒疾病检测呈阴性的证明。去年11月，在感恩节周末为期三天的“动漫大会特别版”活动中，也采取了此检查项目。
