据美国国家气象局预报，从周四开始到周末，圣地亚哥县将出现降雨和雷暴天气。

气象学家预计，周四晚间至周五早晨降水量较小，周五晚些时候至周六降雨量可能较大。

这场风暴源自大气河流——一股来自洛杉矶正西方向、向内陆和南部移动的大量亚热带水汽带。

圣地亚哥气象局气象学家Sam Zuber 表示，他的气象学家团队观察到，风暴随着时间的推移明显减缓，这表明风暴很有可能会持续很长时间。

她说，虽然这场风暴的移动速度可能缓慢，但也很有可能出现雷暴，雷暴发生时移动速度要快得多，当第一条大气河流经过时，会带来强降雨。

Sam Zuber 说：“雷暴影响范围很广。从周五下午到周六，整个县都可能受到某种程度的雷暴威胁。”

气象局目前正在监测两个风暴系统。第一个风暴系统将于周六过境，之后第二个系统有可能出现，并在周日和周一继续为该地区带来少量降水。

Sam Zuber 说，每次风暴来袭，降雨量最大的总是山区。

美国国家气象局指出，发生轻微洪水的风险增加，尤其是在最近发生过火灾的地区。

为应对这种情况，县政府和加州消防局将为非建制地区的居民免费提供沙袋和/或沙子。有意前往当地消防站领取这些物资的居民应提前致电确认库存情况，并自带铲子以便装填沙袋，因为部分消防站的物资可能有限。
